Beyond the Pocket: Mind Mappr on a Bigger Canvas.

When we first launched Mind Mappr on Android in 2022, we started with a simple idea: to create a clean, uncluttered space for your tasks and notes. Our goal was always to build a tool that could be there for you wherever you needed it.

Today, we’re taking the biggest step to make that happen. We’re excited to share that Mind Mappr is officially expanding to desktop. The full web version will go live on October 22, 2025, with a Windows app available to download shortly after.

A Familiar Space for Your Ideas

This isn’t a different, stripped-down version. We’re bringing the entire Mind Mappr experience to your browser and desktop, so you can pick up right where you left off on your phone. You’ll get all the tools you’re used to:

  • Task Management Tools: A simple way to create, track, and prioritize what you need to get done.
  • Secure, AI-Enhanced Notes: Write and encrypt your notes with the help of Google Gemini to spark new ideas and keep them safe.
  • Focus Mode: A distraction-free setting to help you concentrate on the task at hand.

Following the web launch, our new Windows application will be designed to integrate the full power of Mind Mappr seamlessly into your desktop. It will deliver the complete web experience in a dedicated, focused application, ensuring every feature and update arrives on your desktop the moment it goes live. This will guarantee a perfectly consistent and always up-to-date experience.

The Blueprint Behind the App

We started this journey in early 2024, and our main focus was on getting the foundation right. Instead of building separate apps from scratch, we chose to build everything around a single, solid web-based core.

This approach means we can ensure Mind Mappr works the same for everyone, everywhere. As our team puts it,

“Launching with a web version first means we’re building on solid ground. It’s the most reliable way to make sure the experience is consistent for every single user.”

This is a huge step for us, and it’s all about creating a stable and dependable tool. Looking forward, we’re already planning some exclusive enhancements for the web platform. For now, we’re just excited to get this into your hands and see what you think.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Will Mind Mappr be supported on Windows 10?

Yes! We are happy to confirm that the Mind Mappr application will fully support Windows 10, in addition to Windows 11. We are committed to supporting our Windows 10 users and ensuring they have access to the same great experience.

2. What are the benefits of using our dedicated Windows .exe application over the web version?

While both our web and Windows platforms will offer the same great features at launch, our dedicated Windows application is designed for a more integrated desktop experience. This means you can enjoy convenience of launching Mind Mappr directly from your taskbar or desktop, without needing to open a browser first.

3. As an existing Android user, will my notes and tasks be available on the new platforms?

Absolutely! Our goal is to provide a “seamless cross-platform experience.” When you log into your Mind Mappr account on the web or our new Windows app, all your existing tasks and notes from your Android device will be right there waiting for you. Your workspace will be unified across all your devices.

4. Are there plans to release Mind Mappr for other desktop platforms, like macOS or Linux?

Right now, our team is completely focused on launching the best possible Web and Windows versions of Mind Mappr. The future development of macOS and Linux versions will depend on the reception and user adoption of our new Windows application. If we see strong demand on Windows, it will pave the way for us to bring the Mind Mappr experience to other desktop platforms.

5. Will I need to be connected to the internet to use the new Windows app, or can I work on my notes offline?

For our initial launch, the Web and Windows applications will require an internet connection. This ensures that your data is always perfectly in sync across all your devices. We know that a robust offline mode is a crucial feature, and it is something we are actively exploring for a future update.
